There’s a lot happening behind the scenes at CO-architecture as we continue building the platform around the needs of our community.
Over the past few months, CO-architecture has continued to evolve beyond a member directory into the operating platform for architecture and design businesses.
Every update we release is focused on one objective: Helping practices build stronger businesses and become easier for clients to discover.
This month's release introduces several new features that strengthen how studios are presented to homeowners, expand access to commercial opportunities, and improve how members are recognised for the work they're winning through the platform.

NEW: Project wins, heroed
Since launching Project Portal, member studios have secured projects ranging from residential renovations through to luxury new builds.
We're seeing projects progress through CO-architecture across the country, from the adaptive re-use of a church in Victoria to coastal homes in New South Wales, Queensland and beyond. Each successful commission reinforces what we've been building: a stronger demand network connecting homeowners with great architecture and design practices.
Beyond the projects themselves, we're seeing studios strengthen their pipeline, build confidence in their business development, and in some cases, plan for new hires as a direct result of work secured through CO-architecture.
To recognise these outcomes, we're introducing a Won Through CO-architecture badge and editorial feature for members who secure work through the platform. It's our way of celebrating the studios turning opportunities into great projects while helping homeowners discover practices with a proven track record on CO-architecture.
If you've won a project through CO-architecture, we'd love to hear from you. Get in touch at support@co-architecture.com.
NEW: Service areas
You can now add Service Areas to your profile, giving homeowners a clearer understanding of where your studio works.
This is an important update for profile visibility and project matching. By adding the regions you service, you’ll make it easier for homeowners to find your studio when searching by location or looking for designers who work in their area.
To update yours, open your Business Profile, find Service Areas, and add the regions you cover.

NEW: Service packages
You can now add Service Packages to your profile, giving homeowners a clearer way to understand what you offer and how you typically work.
This is designed to help members better communicate their services, whether that's feasibility advice, concept design, full-service architecture, interiors, renovations, new builds or other defined offerings.
Service Packages give homeowners more context before reaching out, and help position your studio around the type of work you want to attract.
This is the first release of Service Packages, and we see plenty of opportunities to evolve it over time. As members begin using the feature, we'll continue refining it based on feedback and how studios are incorporating it into their client journey.
You can set yours up in your Business Profile under Service Packages.

NEW: Commercial Tenders
We’re also starting to expand the types of opportunities shared through CO-architecture, including commercial tenders and broader industry opportunities.
While homeowner projects remain an important part of the platform, we know many members are also looking for wider pathways to grow their practice, from commercial work and partnerships to larger project opportunities.
Commercial Tenders will help bring these opportunities into one place, making it easier for members to discover relevant tenders, expressions of interest and commercial project opportunities as they become available.
This is part of our broader focus on building CO-architecture as more than a project platform. We’re building a stronger industry network that supports members across visibility, business development, community and growth.

Coming Soon: Map Overview
We want to put designers back on the map!
We’re preparing to launch a new Map Overview, an interactive map showing CO-architecture members across Australia.
This will make it easier for homeowners to discover nearby architects, interior designers and building designers, while giving members another way to be found through the platform.
The Map Overview is part of our broader focus on improving homeowner discovery, profile visibility and location-based search across CO-architecture.

Studio Accelerator 2026
Studio Accelerator returns this August, designed to help architecture and design businesses build more resilient, sustainable studios.
Across four weeks, members will work through the areas that often determine whether a studio can grow with confidence: pricing, profitability, positioning, operations, leadership, team structure, business development and long-term planning.
The program brings together studio founders and leaders from across Australia, from emerging practices through to larger multi-disciplinary businesses, to learn directly from experienced mentors and work through the realities of running a design business in a changing market.
For CO-architecture members, the program is not just about learning new information. It is about stepping back from the day-to-day, understanding where the business is heading, and making stronger decisions around how the studio is structured, priced and positioned for the next stage of growth.
CO-architecture members currently receive 50% off Studio Accelerator 2026.
Final places are now available.

As always, thank you for being part of the CO-architecture community.
We’re continuing to build the platform around the needs of our members, and the more complete and accurate your profile is, the better positioned you’ll be across homeowner discovery, project opportunities, editorial features, commercial tenders and future platform updates.
Please take a few minutes this week to review your profile, update your Service Areas and Service Packages, and let us know if you’ve won a project through CO-architecture.
More updates coming soon.
