The very essence of its design reflects the raw beauty of Northern Tasmania, ensuring that every moment spent here feels both environmentally responsible and indulgent. With its signature A-frame design influenced by the elegant minimalism of Scandinavian aesthetics, the cabin stands as a unique Tasmanian luxury retreat, resonating with the breathtaking landscapes of Quamby Bluff and the Great Western Tiers.

The eco-conscious traveller will be pleased to know that the cabin prioritises sustainability in all its aspects. For instance, the refurbished spiral staircase once graced St Thomas Anglican church in Hobart, now serves as a charming centrepiece. Similarly, the Tasmanian oak flooring, once discarded, has found new life under the feet of guests seeking escape. Modern conveniences such as keyless electronic smart lock entry, fast unlimited Wi-Fi, and programmable electric blankets ensure comfort, while the sustainable modwood decking and Tasmanian pellet fire heating system stay true to the cabin's eco-friendly ethos.

One of the cabin's crowning features is its private cedar hot tub, perpetually heated to a therapeutic 38 degrees Celsius. It serves as a personal oasis where guests can drink in the hues of the setting sun, followed by the celestial beauty of the Milky Way.

The luxury experience is not just confined to the outdoors. The cabin's interior invites one to bask in its ambiance, whether it’s getting cosy in front of the eco-friendly fire or diving into a book sourced from the hidden library. And when night's embrace becomes irresistible, a custom-made queen-size bed awaits, promising rest under the moonlit canopy of Deloraine.

For the culinary connoisseur, the region offers a plethora of Tasmanian delights. The self-contained kitchenette, furnished with all the essentials, becomes a canvas for creating meals from local produce. Yet, for those looking to elevate their culinary journey, there are curated package options available – from a heartening breakfast hamper to local wines and gins that capture Tasmania's essence in every sip.

Deloraine itself is a treasure trove waiting to be explored. The complimentary bicycles at The Eco Cabin offers guests a chance to journey through this beautiful town, which boasts fly fishing, wildlife tours, cave adventures, and much more. But if one prefers a more relaxed pace, the banks of the river are perfect for a leisurely stroll, perhaps even spotting a platypus or two.

Not far from the cabin, one can indulge in a variety of Tasmanian experiences. From the serene Montana & Liffey Falls to the enriching Trowunna Wildlife Sanctuary and the enchanting Mole Creek Caves, Deloraine becomes a gateway to Tasmanian adventures.

At the heart of The Eco Cabin's mission is a commitment to become fully sustainable and carbon-neutral without any compromise on luxury. Currently divided into two phases, the sustainable design and construction phase has been accomplished. The second phase focuses on continual environmental improvement, such as integrating solar panels and rainwater harvesting tanks.
