Studio Enti, based in Sydney, designs and produces handcrafted porcelain lighting that blends minimalistic forms and the sophisticated natural beauty of its materiality to produce enduring pieces. The designs are born from the mind of Naomi Taplin, who ensures each Studio Enti piece balances the principles of longevity and sustainability in creating designs that are not only aesthetically beautiful but will last for many years to come.

Studio Enti focuses on the relationship between beauty, function and simplicity in all that they do, highlighting the materiality of the porcelain through an extensive colour palette and subdued silhouettes. The studio believes wholeheartedly in creating pieces that not only add aesthetic value to the home, but functionality, longevity and durability so they can be enjoyed and cherished for years to come.

All Studio Enti designs are produced locally in Sydney, by hand and with a keen focus on the importance of sustainability practises. This allows Studio Enti to support and uplift local artisans within the community through the prioritisation of local craftsmanship, whilst also ensuring the highest quality for their customers and the reservation of traditional techniques. The handcrafting process also adds further character and attention to detail that could not otherwise be ensured and created through mass production.

"In a world where fast fashion and disposable items dominate, we believe in the beauty of a slow, intentional and mindful creation".

Studio Enti's latest collection features sconces, pendants, wall lights and ceiling lights, which each blend functionality with timeless and sophisticated beauty. Sconces, such as the Eclipse and Crescent Sconce, blend seamlessly into the backdrop of any room, adding ambient warmth and sculptural drama through the interplay between shadow and light.

The hero, Orb Pendant Lights capture celestial luminescence in their soft silhouette, whilst still captivating attention as the focal point in any space. Practicality is prioritised through the Eos Ceiling Light, which provides direct illumination perfect for task areas, whilst retaining the refined appearance that suits a variety of spaces and captures Studio Enti's aesthetic. The complete range offers a variety of applications and styles; a curated mix that promises both subtlety and statement in equal measure without ever sacrificing quality or durability.

Embracing the merging of beauty and functionality, each design is embedded with a reverence for the materiality and processes required to create each stunning light piece. With a strong belief in the importance of supporting local artisans, focusing on hand craftsmanship and prioritising sustainability throughout the production process, each and every Studio Enti light represents a labour of love and a future of quality Australian made lighting.

As Studio Enti expands its porcelain collection into 2025, the team is excited to collaborate directly with trade partners to support local production and ensure short lead times.
