2024 Year in Review: A Celebration of Growth and Connection

As we wrap up an incredible 2024, we’re thrilled to reflect on the amazing milestones we’ve achieved together. This year has been a testament to the strength of our community - your passion, creativity, and commitment have made it all possible.

From sold-out events to the launch of exciting new initiatives, let’s take a moment to celebrate what we’ve built and look ahead to an even brighter 2025.

Connecting Communities Across Australia

This year, we hosted four unforgettable, sold-out events in Brisbane, Perth, Sydney, and Melbourne. Over 600 architects, designers, and industry leaders came together for a series of inspiring discussions, knowledge sharing, and meaningful connections.

Each event highlighted the power of community and our shared dedication to fostering a stronger architecture and design network. We were proud to feature incredible practices like Oh Architecture, Blaklash, Vokes and Peters, Tribe Studio Architects, Carter Williamson Architects, and many more.

Looking to 2025:
We’re expanding our event series! Next year, we’ll bring the CO-architecture experience to even more cities and states, connecting even more architects and designers across Australia. Stay tuned for updates—we can’t wait to see you there!

Celebrating the Launch of CO-academy

2024 marked the exciting launch of CO-academy, Australia’s first architecture and design bootcamp! Designed to bridge the gap between academic study and professional practice, this program is all about giving emerging professionals the skills, confidence, and connections they need to thrive in their careers.

Here’s what we’ve accomplished together in CO-academy’s very first year:

  • 250+ fellows enroled
  • 100+ studios joined
  • 20+ mentors stepped up
  • 9 Demo Night events

The launch of the CO-academy Member Portal was another huge milestone, creating a vibrant space where fellows can access resources and connect with peers, mentors, and industry leaders.

Looking Ahead:
In 2025, CO-academy will scale up to reach even more aspiring architects and designers. With plans to expand our mentor network, introduce new workshops, and host more Demo Nights, we’re just getting started!
