Embracing Shelter: GlobeWest Collections 2025 Volume 02
GlobeWest, the Australian furniture brand drawing inspiration from everyday living, are back with more exciting instalments to their vast Collections 2025, welcoming new collections and new styles. Inspired by our everyday landscapes, GlobeWest's latest collection has been specially designed to complement the natural and architectural elements of both Australian homes and public commercial spaces, for which their collections are suited.
Warmth, texture and timeless design are the central pillars of GlobeWest's latest design collection, carefully designed in house by their Melbourne-based design and product teams. Taking cues from holiday retreats and serene landscapes, the new styles evoke a sense of calm and characterise the overarching theme from the Collections 2025 Volume 02 range, 'Shelter', which acts as a key influence for their new ranges.
The concept of Shelter has been informed by the moving words of Naguib Mahfouz, who said "Home is not where you were born; home is where all your attempts to escape cease." GlobeWest's Head of Creative, Keti Lytras explains how these words have influenced both herself and the latest collection, "It's about embracing a sanctuary filled with gratitude, enriched by organic and raw elements."
The Elodie collection was a labour of love. We set out to design something timeless yet contemporary - taking cues from classic loft-style and Parisian cabinetry, but with a softer, more inviting feel. It's all about striking a balance between classic charm and modern refinement.

Organic and raw elements have certainly been infused throughout the latest collections, with a focus on the importance of long lasting and timeless tactility. With each item designed and built with intention, every collection reflects the design and product team's commitment to high-quality craftsmanship and premium design.
With 210+ new styles, the latest collections offer an enormous applicability to a variety of interiors, both residential and commercial. Infusing contemporary, retreat and modern styles, the designs are timeless and can adapt to changing backdrops, continuously elevating and complementing the current styling.
The Sidney Tullio Modular Sofa reimagines the classic tufted style with a plush, rounded silhouette that beckons comfort and relaxation. Its natural speckled fabric adds to the welcoming appeal, while the modular flexibility enhances its versatility, making it perfect for family gatherings or creating a space where guests can unwind together.

Comfortability was a large focus in order to increase the lifetime of their releases, with new upholstery styles offering unmatched softness. Modular sofas feature the same level of relaxation, with generous seating, versatile applications and streamlined silhouettes, balancing functionality and beauty. The collections chairs feature powder-coated frames in monochromatic tones, such as bone, cashmere and matte syrah, which is a decadent dark maroon shade.
Piccolo embraces a fine frame design, offering a more elevated and mature aesthetic. We wanted to avoid chunky, heavy structures and instead create a sleek, sophisticated look that feels fresh and airy.
- Ale, GlobeWest Product Designer
Functionality and quality are key characteristics to the expansive seven ranges being added to Collections 2025. It is a credit to the design and product team that each item so effortlessly blends warmth and minimalism, organic curves and refined lines. Contemporary charm oozes from the unique designs, which offer an elevated simplicity in a variety of natural materials and finishes. New homewares are welcomed in a range of nature-inspired hues, such as coloured glass, russet tones, travertine bases and textured ceramics. Decorative pieces appreciate organic forms and beauty, which act as both stunning and practical accents in the home.
The refined material palette promotes relaxation and timeless warmth, with soft neutrals such as hay and chickpea creating an inviting backdrop in every space, whilst rich, earth-toned fabrics and warm timbers of smoked ash and walnut add depth and tactility. Matte and stainless-steel frames add a sense of modernity to the soothing designs, blending marble in travertine and ocean colourways to infuse ecological inspiration. Upholstery options such as sleek velvet, textured weaves and speckled fabrics add character and interest to every space.
The overall form of Ray is elegant in its simplicity. The double-layered legs and soft edges bring a modern sensibility to a classic shape, creating a piece that feels both grounded and fresh.
